GenPass - Automated Membership Password Creation

We just added our latest training video that contains 6 lessons on using iMember360's automated membership password creation module, GenPass.  Total training time for all 6 lessons is only 20 minutes and when you are finished, you will be an expert at doing all things GenPass related.  It is intermediate level training, but you really should master it in order to be able to get the most our of iMember360 as well as improving your users' experience.

What Do Passwords Have To Do With User Experience?

It might not be obvious to you at first, but passwords are very important pieces of the membership site experience.  It probably seems very obvious that in order for someone to become a member of your website and to start consuming your premium/protected content, that they need to log in as a member.  That makes sense right, somehow the website has to know who the visitor is, before it can deliver the correct content for that user.  AND it probably also makes sense that the user needs a way to SECURELY log in so that no one but s/he can view the content that is meant for them.  That's where passwords come in.

One thing that can be very frustrating for your users is when they purchase something or fill out a form to access some content, if they have to wait to get that content.  One of the things iMember360 does to help reduce wait time is to auologin your visitors (at your discretion of course) when they purchase something or perhaps fill out an opt-in form.  In order for that process to work, we need a way to create a password for them automatically.  That way is the iMember360 GenPass module.
